がんなど人生を左右することもある病の体験などを患者、患者家族、がんサバイバーの方々が集まって、話し合う場として設置されているがんサロン。窓のない一室のため、閉塞感を緩和するような風景写真を大判プリントで設計しました。手に取ってアイスブレイクに使えるような海の生物を写したアクリルフォトも置きました。

Cancer Salon Interior Design

LOCATION - Yokohama Minami Kyosai Hospital

A design intervention for a cancer salon—a meeting space where patients, survivors, and families can share their experiences. In a windowless room, we installed large-format landscape photographs to reduce the feeling of confinement, along with hand-held acrylic photo blocks of sea creatures to serve as conversation icebreakers.
