「宙(そら)」 ・・・ アート作品の映像投影で患者さんたちに元気を

「Cheerful Wall」プロジェクトは、病院内の診療や検査の待ち時間に、患者さんたちを元気づけるための実験的な取組。
今回はその第一弾として、横浜市立大学大学院医学研究科 発生成育小児医療学の伊藤秀一教授らと連携し、現代美術アーティスト、曽谷朝絵（そやあさえ）さんのアニメーション作品「宙（そら）」を附属病院小児科待合の壁に投影。
「Cheerful Wall」プロジェクトを通して、診察等を待つこどもたちが笑顔で楽しむことにより、待ち時間や処置時の負担軽減につながる手法の確立を目指す。 効果測定を含めた実証実験の開始に向け、現在準備が進んでいる。

“Sora” — Energizing Patients through Projected Artworks
“Cheerful Wall” is an experimental project designed to uplift patients during the wait for consultations and examinations in the hospital. As the first initiative under this project, Professor Shuichi Ito of Yokohama City University Graduate School of Medicine (Department of Developmental Pediatrics) collaborated with contemporary artist Asae Soya to project her animation piece “Sora” onto the wall of the pediatric outpatient waiting room.
Through the “Cheerful Wall” project, we aim to establish a method that helps children waiting for medical care feel joy and ease, thereby reducing the stress of waiting and undergoing procedures. Preparations are currently underway for starting an empirical study, including effect measurement.
