運動不足になりがちな日常生活において、必ず発生する階段昇降に着目した、エレベーターよりも階段利用を促す空間デザイン。昇り降りがポジティヴに捉えられる登山をモチーフとしました。2019年度、2020年度はオフィスにおいて展開し、2021年度は市役所などの公共施設に拡張しました。より地域の特色に寄り添い、周辺のハイキングコース写真を採用しました。
コンクリートジャングルの中でも自然を感じられるという点も魅力です。

Climbers is a spatial design intervention for the daily life that lacks exercise. People typically don’t get enough exercise because of limited space and activities in the indoor environment, yet they use elevators in their buildings to go up and down floors. This intervention aims to nudge people to move vertically by climbing up and downstairs. The climbing motif is intended to make going up/down stairs a positive experience by experiencing nature in the “concrete jungle”.
