ストーマパウチのデザインで毎日をもっと楽しく

オストメイトの生活を豊かにするためのストーマパウチのデザイン開発プロジェクトです。
日本に多く普及している透明タイプのストーマパウチは、医療従事者が内容物を確認しやすい一方で、退院後の日常生活やファッション性については考慮されていないのが現状です。
本プロジェクトではストーマパウチを装飾するデザインシールを開発しました。貼付することでストーマパウチの無機質な透明部分を覆い、好きなデザインを身につけることができます。シールの装飾面のデザインは東京デザインプレックス研究所の学生から公募し、ギフトカタログとして編集しました。好きなデザインを選ぶ・受け取る・身につける体験も含めたトライアル利用の準備を進めています。

A project to redesign transparent stoma pouches, commonly used in Japan, to enhance the daily lives of ostomates. While the standard design is functional for clinical inspection, it often lacks consideration for post-discharge life and fashion. We created decorative adhesive stickers to cover the transparent parts, enabling users to choose and wear designs they like. Sticker designs were crowdsourced from students at Tokyo Designplex Institute and curated into a gift catalog. Trial use is in preparation. For details, visit our crowdfunding page.
